Seminar "Information Security in the Digital Age"
On 10 December 2024, TechShield hosted the seminar "Information Security in the Digital Age", bringing together more than 200 IT experts and business leaders to review the cyber-security landscape and the priorities for 2025.
Over a lively day in Ho Chi Minh City, the seminar became a meeting point for the information-security community: from CTOs and system administrators to the people who run business infrastructure day to day.
One message ran through the whole programme: cyber-security is no longer a purely technical issue, but a part of business strategy and risk management.
Numbers worth noting
More than 200 delegates from finance, manufacturing, retail and technology attended in person. The sessions focused on ransomware, cloud security and the compliance requirements of Decree 13/2023/ND-CP.
The core themes
The programme was organised around three main threads, reflecting the most pressing challenges Vietnamese businesses face:
Backup strategy, network segmentation and incident response to limit the damage.
Managing configuration, identity and access as businesses move to the cloud.
A roadmap to meet the new personal-data protection requirements.
Looking toward 2025
Closing the seminar, the speakers agreed that investing in people and process matters just as much as technology. TechShield is committed to continuing to support the community through annual training and knowledge-sharing programmes.
